Currently played, have played, wanna play
Currently playing
- Hebereke no Popoon (SNES) for highscores
- GTA: San Andreas (PC) for idk
- Pac-Attack (SNES) for highscores
- And more I can't think about at the moment
The games I played or tried to play in 2026
This one is a TODO currently
More?- There may be more to write about, we'll see if I can remember them ^^
Kero Keroppi 2 (NES)- I love the music :3 the game itself is pretty short tho ;w; the bosses are
kinda like card games or something, so that might take some time to do. also
the controls surprised me for how responsive they are
overall, this kinda went a bit beyond my expectations; I didn't expect the
controls to be responsive, and the music,,, tbh I was expecting for it
to be thrown together whatever, but for it to actually sound good? I don't
know what I was expecting
Freedom Planet (PC)- I don't remember getting far into this but I might try it again soon
The games I played or tried to play in late 2025?
long story short, I managed to install a virtual machine and was able to play
some games I wanted to for a long time; here's some of what I can remember
various NES games I played before- (I think I'll do a separate section for these ones)
(a few other games I played off-stream)- I'll have to think about them, there's quite a few
-
Nyan Nyan Tower (PC)
Nyan Nyan Triad (PC) - I think this one is a top-down in which you collect some things and go to a
thing, I don't know ;w; I don't remember being able to do it for long
Khimera (PC)- This one is cool :3 basically it's a platformer, and there's ways to go fast
and it's pretty cool. I'm sorry I don't really know what to say ;w;
even after not playing this for years, I still managed to complete it with
most of the achievements ^^
Shantae (PC)- alright, so,,, there's 2 of them that I got in my research (I'll edit the title
with the names, until then it just says 'Shantae'). These are platformers ^^
In the first one I couldn't exit the stage, and the second one I can't beat the boss (or something
like that, I can't remember)
Chantelise (PC)- this is another 3D RPG but it uses 2D sprites, and I think it's interesting ^^
it kinda took me some to figure out what to do, but it's pretty slow and
I don't know if I feel like continuing it, I'm sorry ;w;
Gurumin (PC)- this seems to be a 3D RPG? anyway, I tried playing it but I couldn't
figure out how to get out of 'town'; I could exit the house and go to the
shop but that's about it, I feel like I'm missing something (and yes I tried
talking to every one)
GTA: Vice City (PC)- somehow I made it work on my machine with quite a few mods :3
it's a 3D 'open-world' game in which you go to a marker and do some things;
compared to the sequel some missions can be pretty basic and may get stuck if
you do the wrong things. But anyway, I tried to play it and got stuck in a
mission for hours and gave up afterwards ;w; If anyone would like to help me
out with how to play the game (without using the Replays and the thing to
skip the game) I wouldn't mind to know ^^
I know the replays in 3 and VC can be used for a variety of things, but I don't
wanna do that kinda things (and yet I'm fine with modding the game? try to
make sense of that,,,) because it can be quite difficult to remember specific
things that, if done wrong, can cause problems
Touhou Original Shmups (PC)- so far recently I only played 6th and 7th one at Normal, and it was pretty nice.
I did manage to 1cc both from what I can remember (or I only 1cc'd one of them?
doesn't really matter). I _think_ I also played 8th, 10th, 11th, 12th, 13th, and
14th in the past, but I can't remember anything from them, so whatever
Touhou Rhythm Carnival (PC)- This is one of those Rhythm games, and for some reason it's the only one I know
besides the Taiko I was playing at some point. And also for some reason my inputs
seem to be delayed or my reaction times are inaccurate, don't know what's causing
that, but I wanna try to complete this some day. There's still some stages I've
never ever seen ;w;
New Super Marisa Land (PC)- this is a platformer. I admit I completed it before on the linux setup, but
I don't remember much of it. but again not much to say, I kinda like it,
but I'll have to replay it soon again
Jazz Jackrabbit 2 (PC)- this is a pretty cool and fast platformer :3 that's basically what I can
say about it, and there's not much I can complain because I like it and I
like the music too :3 Anyway, yea, not sure if I can say much more. Even after
not playing it for years I was still able to play it pretty well ^^
Eco Act (PC)- this is a platformer in which you have to clear the stages from everything,
and you can also play as some Di Gi Charat, and every one seems to have
different abilities. I don't know if I completed it or not
Air Fli (PC)- this is some kind of platformer in which you need to collect some things and
go to a door, but you can also get all of them at the same time for
more points. It's pretty simple but can get annoying sometimes
Pac-Attack (SNES)- Another one 'falling block' kinda game; this one is a bit difficult to
explain, but basically you can clear rows of blocks if they don't have
ghosts in them. That's the mode I play in; there's also Puzzle if you
wanna do that. I think what I do is see what is the highest score I can get
Hebereke no Popoon (SNES)- This is one of those 'falling block' kinda games, this one is similar to
PuyoPuyo, if you know that. If you don't know, you're trying to combine
blocks with the same colour. In this one, you have to do at least 3
horizontally, vertically, or diagonally. I like playing as the brown one
because she says Desuwa a lot x3. The characters also have 'special
abilities' or whatever. If you make combos with more than 2 different
colours, you can get some different outcomes; I don't really pay attention
to them and, tbh, in the moment all I can think about is how to clear the area,
so I never tried looking into it much, but maybe some day.
Also I play 'quick match' and as you progress through the levels, everything
gets much faster. What I wanna do is see how many levels I can get to ^^
Also also the music is so good, I love it :3 (especially the VS music)
(oh right, the reason why I don't play in English, despite the game having an
English release, is because that one is in 50Hz, basically it makes the
game a bit slower)
Mappy (NES)- love this one for some reason, don't know why. Playing with touhou sprites
modded because I like it better that way
GTA San Andreas (PC)- it's a '3D open world' in which you can do a bunch of things; I like to
drive around the city at night because it looks so good ^^
Ricochet (PC)- apparently there's more than 1 game with this name and I didn't know that
until I tried looking for it, and then I found some other game,,, who would've
thought 'ricochet' is a common word? Anyway, this is a breakout(?) kinda game,
but I only did like the first 'world'
or 'set of levels' so far, and couldn't get further than that no matter how much
I tried. Not sure when I'll return to this but we'll see
Nyan Nyan Para (PC)- this is a platformer in which you have to clear the stage from pretty
much everything. I actually finished this game :3 I completed the story and finished every level
in a row (it's something you unlock after you complete the story), but I did this
some time on a Linux setup (long story), not this virtual machine. I intend to
finish it yet again simply because it's fun
Normally you need the CD audio to make the music work, but you can extract it
'somehow' and make it work without the CD, I'll try to write a tutorial
or something if anyone else wants to play this ^^
Legend:
■ possible to play (again?) at some point
■ come back to it often
■ likely won't play again (sorry), or not as much
■ unfinished or currently playing
■ played it was fun, not sure if play again
well then, that's a lot of them
Let's go back to the index
